  • Spinal manipulation is a technique that treats back pain, neck pain and other musculoskeletal conditions via the application of force to the spinal joints, with the idea being that such treatment of dysfunctional areas in the spine can restore the spine’s structural integrity, reduce pain and initiate the body’s natural healing processes.

Spinal manipulation may involve the manual or mechanical application of various types of thrusts on the lumbar spine (lower back) or cervical spine (neck).

  • Electrical muscle stimulators, also known as E-Stim, or EMS devices are devices that send electrical impulses to your muscles to promote muscle contractions.

    Therapy benefits include:

May improve joint pain and swelling.

Prevents and reveres muscle atrophy (loss of muscle mass/tissue)

    Enhances rehabilitation of muscles.

Increases range of motion for tense muscles or tendons.

    Reduces stress and discomfort.

    Improves blood flow and circulation

  • Nonsurgical spinal decompression is a type of motorized traction that may help relieve back pain. Spinal decompression works by gently stretching the spine. That changes the force and position of the spine. This change takes pressure off the spinal disks, which are gel-like cushions between the bones in your spine, by creating negative pressure in the disc. As a result, bulging or herniated disks may retract, taking pressure off nerves and other structures in your spine. This in turn, helps promote movement of water, oxygen, and nutrient-rich fluids into the disks so they can heal.

  • Stretching is often included in Physiotherapy interventions for management of many kinds of clinical injuries. Stretching can help improve flexibility and range of motion about your joints. Improved flexibility may: Improve your performance in physical activities; Decrease your risk of injuries; Help your joints move through their full range of motion; Enable your muscles to work most effectively
